Your teacher
Having worked in Social Care for 25 years, I am a big advocate of bringing people together to create and make. We all need some time out from the pressures of life. Making is good for our physical and emotional well-being. I started learning about glass over two decades ago, and I bring my experience and passion to our studio in Stockport, offering both a nurturing and fun learning environment. It’s my happy place where hours melt away while I teach and make beautiful glass. Our studio opened in April 2022, and in that time, we have welcomed hundreds of students, many of them returning week after week, developing their skills while meeting like-minded adults. We have recently moved to GRIT studios, a welcoming venue buzzing with creativity situated within easy reach of Stockport train and bus stations. As well as our workshops and classes, we also come out to workplaces and work with corporate partners providing staff well-being events.
