  • 5/5 from Clare Marriott, attended Mar 2026: This is a great introduction class to acrylic paint pouring. Our teacher, Dean, was lovely and helpful and made it a very enjoyable experience. The biggest surprise was that we all came away with a big set so we can continue at home. Awesome! Thank you very much.
  • 5/5 from Emma Anglesea, attended Feb 2026: Excellent value, wheelchair accessible. Lovely tutor Niamh. Would recommend as a gift, get together or just simply to learn the craft.
  • 5/5 from Jennie Staley, attended Jan 2026: Niamh was brilliant - explained everything I needed to know and showed me where to find things in the shop. Really enjoyed myself. Thank you :)
  • 5/5 from Aleysha Briggs, attended May 2025: The teacher was lovely and friendly and really helpful to my daughter who is autistic and a little bit nervous about trying new things. She taught her a few different techniques for paint pouring which my daughter can now use herself. She really enjoyed herself. Would definitely recommend.

  • 5/5 from Sarah Hulagu, attended Jul 2023: Vicky was amazing. My daughter has many sensory issues but the season was done beautifully. She addressed her needs in such a friendly and professional way. We will defiantly book again.
  • 5/5 from Theresa Luff, attended Jun 2023: Helen was a fantastic, knowledgeable and patient tutor. The session was good fun and the kit provided of great quality. The only downside was that due to the nature of the session we got a little messy with paint, the only place to clean was downstairs in the staff toilet. Wet wipes would have been nice to clean up as we went along. Also with the heat the provision of drinking water would have been greatly appreciated.
  • 5/5 from Michelle Vinson, attended Apr 2023: Helen made this workshop so much fun. She gave me lots of tips and helped me make two amazing pictures. Thank you so much She was also very kind letting my 11 year old daughter have a go who unexpectedly had to come along.
  • 5/5 from Ferne Seller, attended Mar 2023: Gave me more confidence to give fluid art a go! The teacher was lovely and as I was the only one doing it, it was a 1-1. Would be nice to have a longer more in depth lesson but I got an art kit to use at home so the lesson is virtually free. Good value for money and and enjoyable hour thank you x
  • 5/5 from Carol Hickman, attended Feb 2023: I loved the workshop. The facilitator was lovely and patient. She was able to guide us through the techniques, giving clear directions and tips. There were four in the group, we had come as two pairs, a mum and daugther, and sister-in-laws, we got on well and this added to the experience. The kit was fab and I can't wait to have another go at home. Can thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to have a dabble.
  • 5/5 from Elizabeth Adlam, attended Jan 2023: Well organised, great ideas both now and for future projects. Would do again. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Ines Monteiro, attended Oct 2022: Once again a great workshop at Hobbycraft Chesterfield. The kit we received contained enough material for us to use at home after the workshop. Helen was lovely and explained the techniques really well to us, giving us tips to try the craft at home. Definitely would recommend!
  • 5/5 from Hira Dolphin, attended Oct 2022: Went for acrylic paint pouring class. It was really informative and fun. The HC team was very helpful.
  • 4/5 from Angela Taylor, attended Oct 2022: Small class, good teacher who was relaxed welcoming, and took time to look at a project I have in mind for later using similar products. Very pleased with the results!
  • 5/5 from Rebecca Chri, attended Aug 2022: Great session! Tutor was amazing. Pour painting kit all included. Learnt some good techniques. Very good value for money.
  • 4/5 from Alison Constantine, attended Aug 2022: U and 2 friends attended the workshop. We felt that the description of the workshop was misleading as we all expected to make 2 framed pictures. Helen our instructor was very inspiring and helpful. We feel that we should have been advised to leave the pictures at Hobbycraft for 48 hours as one spoilt in transit. However we did have a lovely time and are delighted with our pictures. The course did represent value for money.
  • 5/5 from Carol Vanderhoven, attended Jul 2022: Helen took the mystery out of paint pouring and has given me the confidence to try different techniques. We did three types of pour and I got to take my three paintings home. Helen took time to explain how the paints would interact at each pour and took the class at a very manageable pace. I really enjoyed my class!
