About MeI have been an artist nearly all my life. I can not quench my thirst for art making, and as a result went on to study it for 10 years at the University of Chester whilst also teaching art full time. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be invited back to the University of Chester as a visiting lecturer on the PGCE Art programme. I find this part time role very rewarding and combine it with my own art workshops, classes and commissions. I am a mum to a gorgeous little girl and have a wonderful husband, who appreciates my love of art and more than anything puts up with the mess! We live in Cheshire with our two rescue cats, Lyra and Lynx. I love running, I find it a wonderful de-stressor, and being in nature is always a good source of inspiration for my art. I have had the pleasure of travelling widely, including backpacking around Australia in my early twenties.
