What you'll do
Join internationally acclaimed skateboard deck designer Ed Syder for a hands-on workshop in Manchester where you'll learn to plan and paint your very own board design. Ed brings serious credentials to the table – including years working with some of the world's biggest sports brands – and he'll walk you through how to develop a design that really pops, from first sketch to finished deck.You'll start by sketching out your ideas on paper, then transfer your design to a prepared, primed skateboard using Posca paints. The boards are recycled, keeping the sustainability credentials firmly intact. Take your finished deck home to dry, varnish, and display – or add wheels and actually ride it. Your call.Everything you need is provided on the day. Just bring the inspiration.Recommended for ages 7 and up – though if you think a younger child would love it, you're welcome to bring them along. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and only the kids need a ticket unless you fancy picking up a brush yourself.
