Denim or Garment Upcycling Workshop

Do you live in Glasgow/Edinburgh or the surrounding area? Are you looking for a fun evening in with your pals? If so, Let me come to you with hands-on denim upcycling workshop and learn the art of transforming clothing into a unique statement piece. This three-hour activity is all about personal expression. Bring along your own denim garment, shirt or bag for embellishment or purchase a tote bag from your teacher to decorate on the day. During the workshop, you will learn how to:

• Apply a variety of embroidery (needles are used for this) and fabric painting techniques
• Make and attach colourful fabric tassels and other distinctive details
• Craft a bespoke piece that showcases your personal style
• Choose from a large selection of patches to add to your item.

All the necessary tools for your project will be provided. The intimate workshop size ensures everyone gets plenty of guidance, making it a supportive and fun environment for creative minds. Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned crafter, this workshop is designed to inspire you and help you create with confidence. By the end you will have new sustainable crafting skills and a completely personalised item that is a true reflection of your own style.

• 3 hour class in the comfort of a chosen hosts house.
• We will provide all of the necessary tools, excluding the main garment or bag, however a canvas bag can be purchased on the day if you wish for £5 extra.
