In this engaging photography class, you'll begin by exploring fun, creative ways to generate amazing photo ideas. We'll move on to a practical session where you'll practise taking stunning photos using the advanced features of your smartphone camera, including my signature Tap-Drop-Snap ritual. This technique is guaranteed to be a game-changer for your image-taking. To round off the session, you’ll learn helpful criteria for selecting the very best images from your gallery.

We keep the atmosphere friendly and approachable to ensure everyone, from absolute beginners to the more experienced, feels at ease. There are no specific materials required other than your smartphone and a desire to take better pictures!

That's great! Creativity isn’t a brand feature. We cover creative smartphone photography techniques that work across all platforms, no matter what type of smartphone you have. So whether you’re using an iPhone or an Android device like a Pixel, Samsung, Huawei (or any other brand), you’ll find plenty of tips and tricks to elevate your photography skills.

What are the team-building components of this online event?

I designed the sessions to include engaging activities such as storytelling, brainstorming, creative decision-making, and confidence-boosting exercises. Participants also complete small exercises where they share tidbits about themselves, such as their favorite thing to photograph or a dream destination they’d love to capture. These sessions are hands-on and interactive, providing a surprisingly fun way for teams to connect while exploring creativity together.

I didn’t start out planning to become a photography instructor. I began as a creative in the advertising industry, where visual storytelling was my daily work. At some point, I realized that the best camera is the one you always have with you -- your phone. I started experimenting, then sharing my results with friends and colleagues. The reactions were always the same: “Wait, you shot this on a phone?” That curiosity was the spark that eventually grew into a full-time focus on mobile photography.

I love teaching because I get to watch people surprise themselves. In my sessions, there’s usually a moment when someone takes a photo they didn’t think they were capable of, and suddenly the whole team lights up. It’s creative, fun, and collaborative. That “aha” moment is what keeps me doing this.

Something special about my work is scale: since I began offering online workshops, I’ve guided more than 10, 000 participants worldwide, from small startups to global brands. Teams often tell me it’s not just about learning photography, it’s about connecting, laughing, and seeing everyday surroundings in new ways.

I’ve been fortunate to share my approach in many formats: I’ve run creative workshops for well-known companies, designed unique photo-walks, and launched personal photo projects. I bring the same mix of professionalism and playfulness whether I’m teaching a team of seven or a virtual room of a hundred.
