Creative Collage Workshop with Colour and Flowers

Join collage artist Michelle Olivier – whose work hangs in the South Asia Gallery at Manchester Museum – for a creative collage workshop exploring colour, texture, and floral-inspired imagery. You'll spend the session cutting, layering, and composing your own unique artwork in a calm, welcoming space designed for you to relax and express yourself. No experience needed; this is entirely beginner-friendly.You'll work hands-on with colour, texture, and composition, discovering how collage brings together different elements into something beautiful and entirely your own. There's no "right" way to do this – the focus is on playing, experimenting, and enjoying the tactile process of cutting and layering. Michelle will guide you through gentle introduction to collage techniques, but the real joy is in the freedom to follow your instincts and create something that feels true to you.All materials are provided, so you just need to show up ready to make something.
