Urban Meadows Pottery

Hi, my name is Stacy, and I am the creator and potter behind Urban Meadows Pottery.
My journey with pottery began after a challenging time. Like many others, having been isolated due to Covid, I felt the need to try something new and break away from the monotony. That's when I found myself stepping into my first pottery class, little did I know that this would become the beginning of a life changing adventure.
As I touched the clay for the first time, I was instantly captivated by its earthy smell, its grounding texture, and the therapeutic nature of shaping something beautiful from what is essentially mud. What started as a simple hobby quickly grew into a passion that drove me to build a studio and transform it into a fully-fledged business.
Before starting this journey, I was a primary school teacher in a local school for six years. Teaching is still close to my heart, which is why I made the decision to start running pottery workshops. I love having the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills with others, especially seeing the joy that comes when someone creates something they’re really proud of.
