The easiest way is to come up the steps from Great Bridgewater Street, and the venue is on your left. Disability access: There is a lift to the left of the steps coming up from Great Bridgewater Street that can bring you up one floor, the venue is then to your left.
Your teacher can also travel within 10 miles of Manchester, to a venue of your choice for a private class.
Your teacher
I'm an artist printmaker and life model based in Manchester city centre producing personal work as well as facilitating printmaking, life drawing and painting workshops regularly in Manchester. I regularly travel for private workshops and events so I’m happy to bring the studio to you! I absolutely love watching people explore the huge variety of printmaking techniques. In addition to the pure joy of creating, making something new boosts self esteem, relieves stress and anxiety, stimulates the mind, and helps us to interact with ourselves and our community in a different way than our usual day-to-day lives. Printmaking provides the opportunity to explore and communicate our thoughts, emotions and ideas in a fun and experimental way. I teach regular printmaking workshops at The Village Hall, Deansgate Mews as well as private 1-2-1 sessions in my personal studio at Hidden. I also run workshops for other artists, corporate events and neighbourhood complexes. So Little Lion Studio is many things, but there is just me at it’s heart. Essentially, I am an artist and workshop facilitator providing a safe and encouraging space for people to come and feel comfortable creating, exploring, experimenting, talking, thinking and feeling.
