Looking for art classes that will help take your painting to the next level? Explore your creative side and discover new techniques with this fun workshop experience.

Learn from an amazing local artist, who'll teach you how to paint using traditional materials in unique styles to capture some stunning imagery. You'll learn about Chinese painting techniques like Gongbi (工筆 ) and Xieyi (寫意) and choose your canvas from a selection of rice paper or scrolls.

This painting class is suitable for beginners as well as those with a little more artistic experience, so don't worry if it's your first time. Your teacher will be on hand to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have as you get busy creating your marvellous masterpiece.

Looking for a team-building activity to reward your colleagues after a smashed sales goal or a long week at the office? Book a private workshop and enjoy some quality time with your work family as you discover new passions for painting.

At the end of your art class, you'll get the chance to stand back and admire your beautiful painting as you compare it with the group. You'll head home with your completed piece and a new skill that's perfect to practice whenever you're looking to clear your head.

Floating Art adheres to COVID-19 government guidelines. They won't run this class if they've had a continuous cough, a high temperature, or a loss of or change in their normal sense of taste or smell, in the last 14 days.

Floating Art believes that everyone can be an artist and is dedicated to increasing the public's entry into the field. We have a selection of amazing classes that allow people of all skill levels to learn art in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. From east to west and ancient to contemporary, workshops cover a variety of different artists and art movements and focus on exploring different cultures and developing unique ideas through the conversation with one's inner-self.

​Classes are guided by Ula, a local artist with a bachelor degree in fine art and a masters in visual art. She has over 15 years of experience teaching art to people of all ages and abilities, including Children, residents of care homes and teachers in Hong Kong’s schools. Ula teaches with an academic approach and covers art theory, movements and techniques.
