Children's Lego Letterpress Class or Party

Create a unique piece of artwork at this fun letterpress workshop for kids.

2 hours Class size 8 to 15     label £25

Introduce your child to the wonderful world of printmaking with Lego Letterpress! This unique and exciting workshop allows children to create their very own masterpieces using Lego plates and a variety of different shaped tiles. They'll learn how to 'set' their image on the plate and then print it using rollers or even on an antique letterpress, creating a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Charlotte, with her 15 years of experience, will guide your child through the process, helping them build confidence and develop new skills in a fun and engaging way. She creates bespoke workshops tailored to the age and interests of the participants, ensuring that every child has a fantastic time and leaves with a sense of accomplishment.

As a DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained professional, Charlotte is well-equipped to work with children of all ages. You simply organise the venue (or Charlotte can come to your home), and she'll take care of the rest, providing an unforgettable experience for your young artist.

Lego Letterpress is a unique, accessible, and hugely fun relief printmaking technique which allows participants to ‘set’ an image on a Lego plate using a range of tiles. From monochrome images printed on my restored antique letterpress' to larger multi layered prints hand inked with rollers, this artform is as versatile as it is fun. The playful and familiar feel of Lego draws in even the most nervous or reluctant of artists, and the buildable and easy to edit format leaves plenty of scope for experimentation.
