Bring your child's dreams into ceramic creations at our beautiful, well-stocked, and inspiring Community Arts Centre. This family pottery workshop in London is a fun and relaxing way to spend time together -- and you get to leave all the mess at the studio!
We’ll teach the essential hand‑building and decorating techniques to get you started, while offering guidance from an experienced tutor, introduce a range of making methods, and build practical skills—creating a relaxed, creative experience for adults and curious young makers alike.
What to expect:
  • Learn basic hand-building and decorating techniques.
  • Guidance from experienced tutors.
  • Create your own ceramic pieces to be fired (up to 2 pieces).
  • An option to air-dry at home if you prefer.
  • Unaccompanied children aged 8+ are welcome.
  • Parents may stay for coffee/tea in the lodge or drop off and return later.
We will fire the pieces and have them ready for collection 4-6 weeks later, or for a small fee, we can post your creations (speak with your tutor). Proceeds go towards our community art projects, supporting mental wellbeing and creative health, especially for those facing barriers. Join us for a wonderful creative time!

Can I drop off my child and come back to pick up?
Unaccompanied children 8 years and over are welcome on their own - Parents can stay and have a coffee/tea in the lodge (or drop and pick-up).
