Ceramic Bee House Workshop

Create a home for solitary bees at this fun ceramics class in London!

2.5 hours Class size 6 to 30 guests

£35 - £54 (£35 for Public class; £54 for Private class) (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join us for a fun and hands-on ceramic workshop where you'll craft your very own solitary bee house using beautiful buff school clay or rich terracotta. This workshop is perfect for beginners and nature lovers alike—no previous clay experience needed!
You’ll be guided through the three essential handbuilding techniques—pinch, coil, and slab—before using your new skills to design and shape a unique, functional bee house.
Solitary bees are gentle, fascinating pollinators that need safe spaces to nest, and your handmade ceramic home will help support local biodiversity in your garden or balcony.
Once finished, your bee house will be fired in the kiln and posted to your home around 4-6 weeks after your workshop, ready to go or hang outdoors - welcome your new pollinator guests!
Proceeds go towards our community art projects, providing mental well-being and creative health, especially for those facing barriers.
