Cathy Van Hear is a textile artist living and working in Hove, UK. She specialises in crochet, alongside using hand and machine stitching, embroidery, knitting, and natural dye techniques in her work. She has worked as a freelance textile art fabricator for clients including Greenpeace, Selfridges, and Glastonbury Festival, and has run workshops at the Southbank Centre, the Royal Academy of Arts, and at festivals and art events across the UK.

Cathy teaches her selection of crochet courses for adults in venues across London, Brighton, and at her Hove Studio. Classes cover crochet skills from the very beginning, and take you on a journey from first stitches to designing and making your very own personalised sweater. Bookable as one-offs and in separate blocks depending on your level, you can take your crochet journey at your own pace.

Classes
