Q: What age is the workshop suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for children aged 8+
Q: Does my child need any previous painting or crafting experience?
No. The workshop is completely beginner-friendly and everything will be explained step by step.
Q: What will my child make?
Children will cast their own hot air balloon using eco-resin, paint and personalise it, then create a painted canvas background and attach their finished balloon to create a unique piece of wall art.
Q: Is the casting material safe for children?
The workshop uses eco-resin rather than epoxy resin. The casting powder and water will be pre-measured for each child, so they don't need to weigh or measure the materials themselves. The casting process will be fully supervised and gloves and aprons are provided.
Q: Will my child get messy?
It's a hands-on creative workshop, so there is potential for some mess! Aprons are provided to help protect clothing, but we recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on.
Q: Can parents join in?
Absolutely! Parents are welcome to purchase their own ticket and join the workshop alongside their child.
Q: Can parents stay without taking part?
Yes. Parents can relax and enjoy food and drinks at the venue while their child takes part. A parent or guardian must remain on site throughout the workshop.
Q: What do we need to bring?
Nothing! All materials and equipment needed for the workshop are provided.

The workshop takes place in a covered, heated marquee, rather than inside the main venue.
Q: Can my child attend independently?
Yes. Children aged 8+ can take part independently, but a parent or guardian must remain on site for the duration of the workshop.

Absolutely! Why not arrive early and enjoy lunch before the workshop, or stay afterwards for food and drinks? Parents are also welcome to relax and enjoy the venue while the children take part in the workshop.
