Knowledge required
This is an advanced beginner class, so you will need to know how to thread and use the basic functions on a domestic sewing machine before attending.
What to bring
Sewing machine hire and sewing kit included, although you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. A printed pattern, binding fabric, and interfacing are included in this workshop. You will need to bring 1.5 metres of light to medium-weight t-shirt jersey plus a matching thread.
Your teacher
We are a creative studio based in Staple Hill offering a wide range of craft courses, classes and workshops from sewing, dressmaking, stained glass, printmaking, upholstery, crochet, weaving and much more. Our classes run 7 days a week and we have activities for adults and kids during the day and evening. Why not learn a new skill or improve one you already have at a one of our exciting workshops? Our studio space is also available to hire.
