Clay Fairy House Workshop

Bring a sense of magic to your day and create a clay fairy house.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 3 guests       £33

Create a sense of wonder in this relaxed and beginner-friendly clay workshop, where you’ll sculpt your very own charming Fairy House to take home.
Using air-drying clay, you’ll be guided through a range of simple hand-building techniques, including slab construction, shaping, joining, texturing, and carving. Learn how to create clean walls, add dimension to your roof, and incorporate delightful details such as doors, windows, wood grain effects, and even toadstools and flowers. No previous experience is needed — everything is broken down into clear, manageable steps.
One of the joys of this workshop is making your Fairy House uniquely yours. You’ll be encouraged to add your own personal touches and creative flair.
As we’ll be using air-drying clay, your finished piece will be ready to take home the very same day — no kiln or firing required. Once fully dry at home, it can be painted and sealed if you wish to add extra colour and protection.
This workshop is perfect for beginners, those wanting to try clay for the first time, or anyone looking for a relaxed and sociable creative session. All materials are provided, including clay, tools, aprons, and plenty of guidance in a welcoming and friendly space.
Just bring yourself, a small box to transport your finished piece safely, and perhaps a friend to share the experience. Come along, unwind, and enjoy creating your own little piece of a magical forest.

We are a family-owned and run business in the heart of Bedfordshire. We have been providing a place to teach craft classes for 17 years.
Our tutors come from all walks of life but have one thing in common - they all love to craft. Over the years, hundreds of students have passed through our doors experiencing the joy that is to craft and learning new skills to take away and share. Many return for more and bring family and friends into the fold.
We have a fantastic group of tutors and staff who offer a whole range of expertise and knowledge. Alongside our classes, you can shop our extensive range of kits and patterns plus materials and supplies for patchwork and quilting, crochet and knitting, dressmaking, jewellery making and so much more.
