- 5/5 from Melissa Shapcott, attended Aug 2026: Came to this as always wanted to do one. Brought my mother in law. Unsure of how it was going to go as both of us aren’t painters. Mat our host was brilliant and took his time showing us how to produce the our own version of the painting. Time absolutely flew by and had so much fun. Would definitely come again myself and recommended to other people.
- 5/5 from Abigail Pinnock, attended Aug 2026: Such a great evening and we all released we can paint … thanks to Matt! He’s a great teacher and created a fun and relaxed evening … would highly recommend!
- 5/5 from Sarah Pugh, attended Jun 2026: Fantastic evening. Matt was brilliant, talked us all through “trusting the process “ with lots of encouragement and support if needed. A lovely time had by all - Highly recommend
- 5/5 from Louise, attended Mar 2026: Another great session. Really enjoy our painting classes. I’d like to think I’m improving, but the jury is out on that. Mat is brilliant. He explains things really well and the classes are really good fun, and good for relaxing and switching off to the noise of every day life. Can’t recommend Mat’s Brush Party sessions enough.
- 5/5 from Katherine Steier, attended Feb 2026: Matt was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a lovely evening with great company. Staff at the venue were also welcoming.
- 5/5 from Louise, attended Feb 2026: Matt was great as always. Had a really lovely evening. Great fun - Thank you! Already looking forward to booking our next class.

Brush Party is about making art fun. It’s where people of all ages and abilities can come and discover their artistic side. Our fun step-by-step approach makes painting easy. You don’t need to have ever painted before to come to one of our events. Take a look at our calendar and choose the artwork you’d like to recreate. We walk our guests through creating their own version of our theme in easy to understand stages.
