What you'll do
Join Claire for this festive bauble-painting workshop at Brighton Sea Lanes. If you're looking for a relaxing Sunday activity, this cosy rooftop session is the ideal way to get creative. You can even grab a coffee and pastry downstairs at Fika Sea Lanes before heading up to the studio.You don't need to be an expert artist to create something special. You'll start by practising on paper, giving you the chance to perfect your designs before applying them to beautiful recycled paper baubles. Claire will be on hand throughout the class, offering tips and tricks to help you bring your vision to life. All necessary materials, including paints, brushes, and ribbons, are supplied, so you just need to turn up ready to paint.You'll have time to decorate two or three unique pieces during the two hours of inspiring creative flow. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a set of personalised decorations ready to add a splash of colour to your holiday décor.Please note: you can order food or drinks during this workshop using the QR codes available in the workshop room, allowing you to order directly from any of the three onsite vendors (no outside food or drinks are allowed).

Hello! I’m Claire, a Sussex-based artist often found floating between London and Brighton, paintbrush in hand. I’m a painter, ceramicist, and workshop host, running everything from my popular ceramic tile-painting classes to festive bauble-making sessions. Every event I host is warm, friendly and totally judgement-free - perfect for fun with friends or a peaceful, creative solo escape.I started out in printed textiles, so hopping from bold patterns to clay and canvas felt completely natural. My work is stitched together from a joyful patchwork of inspirations - folklore, seasonal rhythms, and tiny everyday wonders.Everything I make is slowly and thoughtfully crafted in my Brighton studio with connection at its heart. I’m passionate about carving out pockets of calm in our busy lives - time to pick up a brush, squelch some clay, play with colour, and let creativity lead the way.
