Stained Glass Peacock Feather Workshop

Create a stunning peacock feather decoration at this stained glass mosaic class in Bristol.

6 hours Class size 1 to 6 guests       £100 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Create a stunning one-of-a-kind peacock feather display in this hands-on stained glass mosaic workshop in Bristol. You'll work with a beautiful selection of coloured glass and sparkling crystal agate to bring a gorgeous feather design to life. Using a pattern as your guide, you'll learn the art of cutting glass, understand how to select colours that complement each other, and master the stained glass mosaic technique – cutting, glueing and grouting to create a polished, professional-looking piece.
The full-day workshop runs from 10am to 4pm, giving you plenty of time to really immerse yourself in the craft without feeling rushed. Your experienced teacher will walk you through every step, breaking down what might seem complicated into manageable, enjoyable stages. By lunchtime, you'll have made real progress, and the afternoon is yours to finish and perfect your feather. It's a genuinely relaxing, low-pressure day – you'll discover how satisfying it is to work with glass and see your design come together.
The park setting makes the whole experience even better. There's a café on-site for refreshments and cakes, or if you'd prefer, bring your own lunch and enjoy the lovely outdoor spaces dotted around the grounds. Shops are just a 10-minute walk away if you fancy a stroll during the break.
Once your feather is complete, you can either attach a ribbon to hang it in a window, where it'll catch the light beautifully, or display it on a stand. Either way, you're taking home a one-of-a-kind keepsake that's entirely your own creation.
Please note: this technique uses no lead, making it suitable for pregnant women.
