What you'll do
Mamma Mia…. Here We Go Again!Food + Drink + Music + Craft = another fun themed night with a difference, and our Greek one is back by popular demand!Join me when we will be bringing a touch of Greece to the studio and creating a beautiful mosaic from broken plates, inspired by the Greek tradition. We will also sing along to the Mamma Mia soundtrack, tuck into tasty Greek tapas food by Harts Barn Cookery School, and enjoy a glass or two of Ouzo cocktails.On: Friday 10th May 2024From: 7pm to 10.30pmAt: The Inspiring Creativity Studio, The Old Saddlery, Old Park, Lydney Park Estate, Gloucestershire, GL15 6BUCost: From £49 per person.You will create your mosaic using the direct method using pretty plates from my stash, but you can also embellish it with all sorts of colourful treasures, including vitreous glass tiles, ceramic beads, and buttons. No experience necessary, suitable for beginners. The mosaic heart measures approximately 15cm. We won't have time to grout during the workshop as the adhesive will still be wet, but you will be given a short demo and enough grout to finish your piece off at a later date.We'll set the scene with some top sing-a-long tunes, cocktails, and the evening will also include amazing food by the lovely Yvette at Harts Barn Cookery School, including a selection of Greek treats. Fancy dress is optional, but why not!Alcohol and non-alcoholic cocktails are available but not included in the ticket price.Please get in touch to discuss any dietary requirements. Food will include a selection of Greek tapas:

As a trained secondary school art teacher with 20 years' experience delivering creative projects, I strive to help people improve their wellbeing and quality of life, by making it easy, accessible and fun to get creative anywhere in the world.With a passion for mosaic, there's so much I can do to show you and your friends how absorbing and enjoyable this colourful and tactile craft can be. Investing in yourself is important and focussing on something creative is so good for the soul. I know that mosaic is the perfect way to unwind for a couple of hours and by nurturing the bit of you that perhaps doesn’t get much attention, I can guarantee you will feel empowered, fulfilled and happy.Whether on a workshop or through one of my kits, I really hope to inspire your creativity soon.Love Rachel x
