In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to create your own beautiful patchwork cushion cover from scratch. Perfect for brightening up your home with a personal touch, this activity will teach you essential sewing skills whilst crafting something uniquely yours to take home and treasure.
Whether you're completely new to sewing or looking to build on existing skills, this relaxed four-hour session will guide you through every step. You'll discover how to piece together fabrics in eye-catching combinations, master basic sewing techniques, and learn the practical skill of inserting a zip - all whilst creating your very own cushion cover.
Working with colourful fabrics in a friendly, supportive environment, you'll have the choice to use our provided materials or bring along your own special pieces of fabric that you'd love to incorporate. You're welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer, though our workshop machines are available for everyone to use.
By the end of the session, you'll have gained confidence in:
  • Patchwork design and assembly
  • Basic sewing techniques
  • Installing a zip correctly
  • Constructing a professional-looking cushion cover
