Paper and Thread Mosaic Workshop

We will explore the beautiful fusion of paper artistry and thread techniques!In this hands-on 3-hour session, you’ll learn how to design intricate mosaics using colourful paper pieces with decorative cutting and folding plus applied threads for a truly unique mixed-media masterpiece.Roll your sleeves up, have some fun and bring out your creative side - different template patterns to follow, lots of colours in plain and textured paper and cards, as well as an array of threads to play with.During the workshop, you'll discover different techniques while adding your own contemporary twist. You'll have the opportunity to select from a variety of papers, cards, magazine tears and an array of colourful threads to create a colour combination that reflects your personal style. Once you have completed your artwork, you will be shown how to frame your piece in a white box frame, ready to take home. The relaxed atmosphere makes this an ideal activity to enjoy with friends, enhanced by the included hot or cold drink.By the end of this enjoyable workshop, you'll have created your own unique framed picture – a beautiful decorative piece designed by you! All materials are provided, allowing you to focus entirely on the creative process and social experience. Everything is included with your choice of pattern template, colour choice, paper and thread combination. There are lots of colours to choose from and an array of fun combinations you can create.
