6 hours Class size 1 to 4 guests       £140 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Discover the art of fine silver jewellery making in this hands-on workshop. Using the alchemy of silver clay alongside traditional silversmithing techniques, you’ll create your own unique stud earrings. Take inspiration from the textures found in nature—leaves, bark, and organic patterns—to craft beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. All skill levels are welcome, and you’ll receive as much guidance as you need.
Silver clay is a versatile material made from pure silver particles, a binder, and water. It can be shaped and textured like clay, and when fired, becomes solid fine silver of hallmark quality.
What You’ll Learn
Roll and texture silver clay using leaves, texture sheets, or freehand techniques
Cut shapes using cutters or freehand
Smooth, sand, and refine your pieces
Fire your pieces using a handheld jeweller’s torch
Combine silver clay and silversmithing by soldering earring posts to your pieces
Hand-polish your earrings using 3M polishing papers
Optional: apply Liver of Sulphur to create a patina, accentuating textures, or leave your jewellery bright and untarnished
By the end of the day, you’ll have finished silver stud earrings that are ready to wear and treasure.
