Woodland Animal Mosaic Workshop

Have you always wanted to learn how to make a mosaic but never got around to it? Create your own striking woodland animal mosaic at this hands-on class, perfect for your home, garden or as a handmade gift! You will create your mosaic with the direct method and will use vitreous glass tiles, ceramic beads, broken vintage plates and buttons. You can copy my sample or come up with your own design and really let your imaginations run wild and make it in your own colours and textures.Expert teacher Rachel will be on hand to provide step-by-step support as you choose either a square design or get really creative and cut out a unique animal shape.Don't worry if you're not usually the crafty type either. Mosaic making may seem like a bit of a challenge, but really it’s just like making a jigsaw puzzle! The small pieces connect to make one big picture.You'll finish this class with a new skillset, a clear head and a beautiful piece of mosaic art to take home and display. Please note:

• Your finished mosaic will measure approximately 20cm.
• Although there won't be time to grout your piece during the workshop, Rachel will provide a short demo and enough grout to finish your piece at home.

• All the materials and tools needed to create a 20cm mosaic.
• Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.
