What you'll do
Decorations made before and on the 6th December will receive their decorations before Christmas.Get into the Christmas spirit with a festive decoration-making pottery class in Bristol, complete with cheerful Christmas tunes! This fun and beginner-friendly class allows you to create up to three unique handmade ceramic pieces, whether you’re after something simple or looking to try your hand at a more intricate design.During the session, you'll have the guidance of an experienced ceramics artist and access to a wide array of pottery tools and colourful underglaze paints, giving you the freedom to let your creativity shine. To get started, you’ll spend 10-15 minutes sketching out your ideas to spark some inspiration, then, it’s onto the hands-on fun of shaping your own DIY Christmas decorations! From stamping and sculpting to adding vibrant paint details, you can customise your creations however you like.Once you're finished, your pieces will be bisque-fired, glazed, and fired one final time. This process takes 4-6 weeks, and you'll receive an email once they’re ready for collection. This workshop is designed to make working with clay fun and accessible for everyone. Whether you're joining solo or booking as part of a celebration like a birthday, work event, or hen do, it’s a fantastic way to embrace the holiday season and create something truly special!

Hello! I'm Jess from Jess Made This Mess and I offer a wide variety of ceramic workshops at Wild Clay Studios! My workshops are intended to be a safe and creative space that encourage people to try something new using hand building techniques such as slab building, coiling and pinching. I aim to make pottery accessible to everyone and anyone that wants to give it a go! You don't need all the bells and whistles to make a gorgeous pot, and thats the brilliant thing about pottery.
