This lampshade making class in Worthing will help you personalise your space like never before!Hosted by Wendy, a life-long local crafter, you'll be shown every step towards creating your very own double-sided lampshade from whichever fabric you provide. Whether you go simple and sophisticated, bold and colourful or a little bit of both, you'll learn about all the tools and techniques you'll need to take home a lampshade that's unique to you.Not a natural crafter? Don't fret, as Wendy will be behind you every step of the way to lend a helping hand, give you design tips, and keep the wolf from the door with plenty of refreshments!Looking for fun couples' activities in Worthing? Come along to this workshop and each make your own lampshade! Whether you go for matching designs or express your individuality, you'll leave with a little something to decorate your nest together.

What you'll get
- All the fixtures and tools to make either a 20cm or 30cm drum lampshade (fabric not included; a small selection will be available to purchase on the day but we can't guarantee it will suit your decor!)
- Tea and coffee provided!
What to bring
It's a double-sided shade, so you'll need 2 pieces of fabric; one for the inside, one for the outside. A woven fabric without stretch is best (we recommend cotton, linen or poly blends). Both pieces of fabric will need to be at least 30cm wide x 100cm long (just ask your fabric supplier to cut 30cm, the length of your piece of fabric will be the standard width of the roll).

The Little Craftery opened in July 2017 in Field Row, Worthing, providing a light, relaxed and friendly creative space to help people enjoy a wide variety of crafts. We believe that crafts should be for everyone, so anyone over the age of 16 is welcome! Classes are kept small so each attendee can enjoy the full attention of our lovely teachers in a relaxed and welcoming environment. ​We offer classes in macrame, jewellery making (beading, silversmithing and chainmaille), candle making, felting, origami and more! We're always coming up with new classes, so keep your eyes peeled for anything new that catches your attention.If you're celebrating a birthday, hen party, office outing or just want to get some friends together for a catch up over a cup of tea and some crafts, we can arrange private sessions to suit you. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to help organise a fun day or evening's crafting!
