• 4/5 from Helen Shields, attended Dec 2024: It was a shame the location was so cold as the candles weren’t drying and smudged on the way home. Also the lighting was awful. Lovely concept, super staff member but location not great as far as temp comfort and seeing what you were doing!
• 3/5 from Jane Tomlins, attended Dec 2024: The venue was freezing, sad for a Christmas event no red, few green&white. Weirdly neon orange, blue, pink etc? Would have liked an intro as we all wasted a lot of time not knowing when to start or what to do. Lady that ran the course very nice.

The venue was great, the teachers give enough instruction but freedom to mange your own time (with plenty of time) and the ability to chat with friends. The materials were good quality and I managed to paint 5 dinner candles which I am really pleased with. Really good value for money. Thank you

All materials were supplied and you could ask for anything extra if needed. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The table was beautifully presented when we arrived with a birthday banner too, which was a lovely touch. Our table consisted of 7 ladies and 2 men, ranging in age from 22-60. I mention this only to say that EVERYONE really loved this experience. It was all explained very thoroughly, materials provided were good quality and easy to use, and help was at hand at all times. Communication prior to the event was extremely helpful and with quick response, and the venue (Dunkertons in Cheltenham) could not have been better. Overall, this event far exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate in booking a ClassBento workshop in the future. Thank you The Candle Crowd

I came alone so it was a little awkward for me but the teach made me feel welcome and was very friendly. I spent a while looking for designs to follow and realise there were some already in the instructions but just a suggestion for those of us who are not so creative, it would be nice to see some more theme style options to copy or some templates to try and get us going. Overall I enjoyed it though, relaxing and something nice to do. Thank you

• 5/5 from Madeleine, attended Apr 2024: I booked this class as a present for myself and best friend to do, we had such a good time, the setting of the class was really pretty, there were cupcakes handed out which were delicious and we were luckily sat next to some lovely ladies that we chatted with for the evening. The spaces were tight but there was always someone passing by you could ask for a paint colour and they helped happily. The ladies were really friendly and helpful. My only bit of feedback was we wished the whole session was a bit longer, we enjoyed it so much but felt rushed just to get a second candle finished by the time we had overall started, even if it was 30 mins longer. But I think it’s just because we had so much fun, we wish we did more! Would definitely do again

The venue was stunning and so beautifully set up for the event. You get everything you could need to paint the candles, including ideas for decorating. The hosts were so helpful ensuring we had enough paints and our preferred colours etc. The atmosphere was lovely. Such a brilliant evening and the most wonderful start to the festive season. Highly recommend!

• 5/5 from Eve Whalley, attended Oct 2023: Well where do I begin. Firstly the venue looked beautiful with everything set up for the evening. The instructions were even decorated and looked amazing! Nikki was such a fantastic teacher, showing us what to do and engaging with us all throughout the whole evening. Nothing was too much of an ask. Even down to getting the bar staff up to take orders so we didn’t have to take time out to go to the bar. We were able to decorate 2+ candles which I thought was great value- plus the yummy cupcake. I would 100% recommend to anything thinking of doing it. And I would do it again in future.
