Sea Glass Jewellery Workshop

Join this hands-on sea glass jewellery workshop in Bristol and discover a whole toolkit of essential jewellery-making techniques, including sawing, soldering, filing, hammering, hand-stamping and finishing sterling silver. It's a wonderfully immersive way to spend a day, whether you're picking up a jeweller's saw for the first time or looking to sharpen skills you already have.Fiona from Jewellery Moves will guide you step by step through creating your own bezel setting, showing you exactly how to set a piece of sea glass into a ring, pendant or pair of earrings of your choosing. You'll get plenty of one-to-one guidance along the way, so you can work at a pace that feels comfortable while still pushing your skills further.This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, and it's just as rewarding for those with some jewellery-making experience under their belt who fancy building on it. You're welcome to bring along your own sea glass if you have a favourite piece in mind, though not every piece will be suitable for setting – don't worry, though, as a good selection will be available on the day to choose from.By the end of the session, you'll walk away with a genuinely one-of-a-kind piece of sea glass jewellery, along with new silversmithing techniques you can keep building on at home.Please note:

• The cost of the silver isn't included in the workshop price. Materials typically cost £30–£70, depending on how much you make, and are payable to the tutor on the day
• The minimum age for this workshop is 14 years
• Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult who has also booked a place
