What you'll do

You'll also pick up some valuable tips and tricks for drying flowers and how to handle them for flower arrangements so you can keep up this colourful hobby at home.By the end of this flower crown class, you will take home your handmade, one-of-a-kind crown that will make you feel like royalty. Becky's passion for dried flowers stemmed from preserving flowers from her wedding. She wanted to give a longer life to the beauty offered by nature and keep the memories of her wedding alive. After years of experimenting, practicing, courses and reading, she has now set up a dried flower enterprise called Curated Cuttings and is hoping to inspire others.
Becky is a primary school teacher with 15 years of experience. Her style of teaching involves working with students on a step-by-step approach, modelling tasks and verbalising actions. In doing so, she makes instructions clear and easy to follow so everyone can achieve. She empowers all students to give it a go and express their own artistic style, as each finished piece is guaranteed to look different in style and form.

The Bristol Folk House is an adult education centre providing a variety of part-time day and evening courses and workshops for over 18's. The Folk House provides a welcoming environment in which to explore your creativity and learn new skills.We provide courses and workshops that engage the local community. The cafe provides fantastic organic food and a space to get together before and after classes. It is also open to the public and is the perfect place for those seeking a relaxed and friendly place in Bristol city centre. Live music and festivals happen throughout the year, as well as markets, events and exhibitions.The Bristol Folk House is part of a charity and we receive no funding from the government, the city council or any other institution and our income is wholly derived from course fees, venue hire, members and fundraising events. The centre began in the 1870's with the aim of supporting access to education in the community. The first programme of activities was produced for the academic year in 1920-1921.
