This skills-based block of classes is a perfect activity for beginners or for improvers looking to add stone setting to their skillset.This engaging workshop provides a fantastic opportunity to learn how to incorporate beautiful stones into your jewellery designs. Over the six weeks, you will receive expert guidance as you are introduced to three key setting styles, culminating in a final week dedicated to your own personal project. You can choose from a morning, afternoon, or evening class to suit your schedule.The course will cover the following:Weeks 7 and 8: Bezel setting – Learn how to create and set a classic bezel for a cabochon stone.Week 9: Tube setting – Master the technique of setting small round stones within a silver tube.Weeks 10 and 11: Flush setting – Discover how to set a stone so it sits level with the surface of the metal.Week 12: Personal project – Apply your new skills to a personal project with your tutor's support.All the necessary tools and materials for learning the techniques are provided, along with helpful handouts and supplier lists.
