Hey there! My name is Olivia, and I have been practising ceramics since I was in secondary school! I love it so much that I went on to study it at university, at Central Saint Martins in London. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to live my dream as a potter and educator.
I have been teaching Art, Design, and Ceramics for 5 years now! I teach at a college in Liverpool, as well as running freelance workshops, and I have loved every second of it. In December 2024, I founded Clay Workshop, which I now co-direct with my partner, James. Together, we’ve created a space for people to discover the joy of pottery.
I was lucky enough to be a part of Series 8 of The Great Pottery Throw Down (2025), which was such an incredible experience. It’s really fuelled my passion for ceramics and teaching even more. I learnt so much from the other incredible potters and has given me plenty of new insights that I’m excited to share with you in my workshops.
Our workshops have a maximum of 12 people, which makes them very personal, and you get hands-on help to guide you through your creations.
I absolutely love meeting new people, and what better place to do that than in my home city of Liverpool! Come and join Clay Workshop for a fun morning or afternoon of creative chaos!
