What you'll do
Create your own stained glass jewellery in this workshop in Liverpool, held at our beautiful stained glass studio in Wellington Yard, Wavertree. Over two creative hours, you’ll learn traditional stained glass techniques and transform colourful glass into wearable pieces that are ready to enjoy or gift.This workshop is fully guided and suitable for beginners, with all materials prepared and clear instruction throughout. Lead-free solder is used, ensuring your finished jewellery is safe to wear. With small group sizes, you’ll receive plenty of individual support from the tutor as you work.What to expect:
- Select glass for two pieces of stained glass jewellery.
- Work with pre-cut glass pieces, ready to assemble.
- Apply and burnish silver-backed copper foil.
- Assemble and solder your jewellery using lead-free solder.
- Attach jewellery fastenings such as chains or earring findings.
- Clean and polish your pieces so they’re ready to wear.
- Gift boxes provided for your finished jewellery.
- A small-group setting with a maximum of six participants.
- Due to the use of chemicals, we’re unable to accommodate pregnant participants.
- The studio is on the ground floor, but the bathroom is not fully accessible.
- No alcohol is permitted on the premises -- save the bubbles for celebrating afterwards!

What you'll get

What to bring
- Please wear comfortable clothing (the older, the better, as you will be working with chemicals).
- Suitable footwear such as boots or trainers (no open-toed footwear), and bring a hair tie to safely secure your hair back.
- During the autumn and winter, we recommend wearing layers.
- If you wear glasses for reading, then please bring them.

Hello, We are Olive Can Fly, a stained glass and flower preservation studio based on Bold St in Liverpool. We are inspired by both colour and the natural world and like to incorporate both into the pieces we create. We run various workshops including:
- An Intro to Stained Glass: A full day in our stained glass studio
- Bubbles & Blooms: A perfect hen party or group activity
- Date Night: You will work together as a couple to create something gorgeous made from glass.
