Your creative journey begins by exploring a beautiful selection of mosaic materials.
Choose from colourful glass tiles, iridescent pieces, flower petals, decorative leaves, small squares, geometric shapes and eye-catching feature pieces.
You can take inspiration from our floral mosaic tray design or choose your own colours and create something completely individual.

There is no single "correct" design — the fun is in making the tray your own
Place, Arrange and Create
Once your design begins to take shape, you'll start fixing your mosaic pieces onto the tray.
You'll learn how to:
Arrange different mosaic shapes
Create attractive spacing between pieces
Build floral and decorative patterns
Combine colours effectively
Position smaller tiles around larger feature pieces
Secure your mosaic pieces using adhesive
This is where your plain tray gradually starts turning into something completely unique.
There is something incredibly satisfying about watching the design develop one little piece at a time.
Learn How to Finish Your Mosaic
We'll also explain one of the most important stages of mosaic making — grouting.
Grout fills the spaces between the mosaic pieces and helps bring the whole design together.
Because your adhesive needs time to set properly before grouting, your tray may need to be completed at home after the workshop.
Where appropriate, you'll take home the grout you need together with simple instructions so that you can complete the finishing process once your mosaic has fully set.
After grouting, cleaning and polishing, your colours really come to life.
