Mum and Baby: Creative Space Workshop

In this half-day workshop, Daisy will provide a gentle space to reconnect with yourself, other mothers, and your little one through a mix of creative prompts.As a mother, full-time caring for your little one can often mean your own sense of identity, voice, and joys can slip. Daisy will help you explore creatively through short guided meditations and take you through creative prompts using a range of mediums, including watercolours, coloured pencils, and pens. You will have space to reconnect with the joy inside you and find some escapism from the busy mother mind.You will then move into oil pastels and combine the mediums. This is more of an intuitive space to play with the soft mediums. Daisy will introduce life bubbles, the impact of creativity, and what simple creative tools you can use in your day-to-day life.You will leave this workshop having experienced the joy of craft, space to reconnect with the joy inside you, and some escapism from the busy mother mind. You will have a collection of notes and experimental drawings of the little things that bring you joy, as well as creative tools, so you can begin to incorporate these into your everyday life should you wish to do so moving forward.
