I’m Hannah Fernando, a UK-based mixed media artist, creative facilitator, and founder of Hannah Fernando Art.Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It has always been the place I return to: a way to process, express, reconnect, and make sense of the world. Over time, that personal creative practice grew into something I wanted to share with others. Hannah Fernando Art was founded in 2017, and today I create artist-led painting experiences, private workshops, corporate sessions, and luxury Paint & Sip events across Bristol, South Wales, and beyond.What I love most about teaching is watching people surprise themselves. So many guests arrive saying, “I’m not creative, ” or “I haven’t painted since school, ” and then, within minutes, they begin to relax. Their shoulders drop, conversations open up, and they start enjoying the process rather than worrying about the outcome. By the end, they leave with a finished artwork, but also with something deeper: confidence, calm, connection, and the memory of having made something with their own hands.My workshops are not about being perfect. They are about creating a welcoming space where people of all abilities can feel guided, supported, and free to explore. I love seeing how art can change the atmosphere in a room. It can turn a dinner into a shared experience, a corporate event into a genuine team connection, or a private celebration into something people remember long after the evening ends.One thing people may not know about my craft is that painting is often less about the final picture and more about what happens while people are creating. Conversation flows differently. People slow down. They notice colour, detail, each other, and themselves. That is why I’m so passionate about bringing art into beautiful, social, and professional spaces.Through Hannah Fernando Art, I have delivered curated creative experiences for private clients, corporate teams, diplomatic and international communities, and luxury venues.
