What you'll do
Step into the world of jewellery making with this 7-week beginner’s course, perfect for anyone curious about learning a new craft. In a supportive environment, you’ll be guided step by step through essential techniques, building confidence each week and leaving with a collection of unique handmade pieces to treasure.No prior experience? No problem! This course is specifically designed for complete beginners who want to explore their creativity while picking up practical skills. What to expect:
- Learn core jewellery techniques, including sawing, filing, texturing, soldering, and stone setting.
- Create a range of beautiful pieces: copper and brass rings, a silver ring, a pendant, earrings, a bangle, and a stone-set design.
- Experiment with textures, finishes, and polishing to make each piece your own.
- Work with high-quality tools and materials, with guidance every step of the way.
- Enjoy a warm, friendly atmosphere with tea, coffee, and plenty of encouragement.
- Runs 6:30–9 pm each evening.
- All copper and brass included (silver and stones can be purchased during the course).
- Suitable for ages 16+ (under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult).
- Small group size to ensure hands-on support.

I specialise in running friendly, hands-on workshops where no prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.I love guiding people through the basics of jewellery making, from sawing and soldering to forming and finishing. My goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging space where you can feel confident learning new skills and walk away with something beautiful you made yourself.There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone’s face light up when they finish their first handmade ring or pendant. Whether you’re just exploring a new hobby or looking for a creative outlet, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
