  • 5/5 from Maddy, attended Aug 2026: Absolutely brilliant!! We had such a fun time at the family pottery session with Helen. It was relaxed and welcoming, and she was supportive and understanding with our son with autism/ADHD, which made the experience even more special for us all. We even got to have a little break chilling in her garden, with cake and tea served in very posh handmade mugs Have just booked our next session xx
  • 5/5 from Charlie, attended Aug 2026: My brother and I went with our mum to Helen's hand building workshop and then another workshop together to glaze our pottery. The workshops were really inclusive and brilliant. We really really liked them. I'd recommend the workshops for everyone who loves pottery or just wants to get started. Helen was very very friendly and the workshops were really friendly as well. The workshops were brilliant and I'd give them five stars.

Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am. As a qualified teacher and SENDCo, I have spent over 25 years helping people discover their confidence, develop new skills and enjoy the process of learning.
A number of yeara ago, I discovered pottery, and I was completely hooked.
What began as a curiosity quickly became a passion. There is something incredibly satisfying about taking a simple lump of clay and transforming it into something beautiful, functional and completely unique.
Today, I work from my own home studio, where I’ve created a welcoming, relaxed and friendly space for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy being creative.
I offer a range of workshops, including:
* Hand-building with clay and holiday workshops
* Pottery wheel throwing
* Glazing workshops
* Fused glass workshops
As well as regular classes, I also offer one-to-one tuition, small group sessions and bespoke workshops if there’s a particular technique or project you’d like to explore.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, looking for a mindful hobby or simply wanting to try something different, I’d love to help you create something you’ll be proud of.
I’d love to welcome you to my studio and share the joy of creating with clay and glass. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, a unique experience or simply a few hours to switch off and make something with your own hands, there’s a place for you here.
