This is an evening class which continues at the same time the following week. The price includes both sessions. Please ensure you can attend both sessions before booking.
Come along to our fully equipped professional design studio and have a lovely time among like-minded stitchers. The studio has everything you need—bring your own machine or work on one of ours. You can make your dungarees from reused fabrics such as kids' duvets, tablecloths, or curtains. Please make sure your fabric is pre-washed beforehand.
In our first session, we'll have a look at examples of pre-made dungarees so that you can decide your size and if you'd like to adapt some of the features. We will supply the pattern, and you'll pin and cut. We'll have a tutorial about how to make them up, and you'll be given a worksheet for extra support.
Warning—there will be homework!
In the second session, you'll continue working through the stages to complete your dungarees. Throughout the session, you will be given lots of help and support, and once you get to grips with this easy, versatile style, you can make many more pairs for each season. We can show you how to alter and adapt the style to individualize it to your own taste.
