  • 5/5 from Roopal Vyas-Patel, attended Jun 2026: Harsha and Wayne were both really sweet and friendly. They explained the technique and helped us throughout and were also happy to extend our time a little as we overran. A really nice session for your wellbeing and taking some time out for yourself whilst learning a new skill. Thank you :-)
  • 5/5 from Claire Ludlam, attended Jan 2025: An absolutely wonderful, calming mindful afternoon of kantha stitching. We were all so absorbed in it before we knew it 3 hours had passed! A perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
  • 5/5 from Sara Beecroft, attended Jan 2025: This was my second class with India Inspired Crafts - I find Harsha and Wayne really welcoming and enabling. I’ve learnt some new skills and thoroughly enjoyed the session. The library location is really comfortable and a great space with lots of natural light. Today’s session was kantha which can be enjoyed by all regardless of previous experience (you can do as much or as little as you like). The bag was pre made and the kantha is the embellishment stitching.
  • 5/5 from Amanda Thomas, attended Jan 2025: What a super afternoon! I bought 2 places on the kantha sari bag course - one place for me and one for my partners mum. We both really enjoyed making the kantha bags and also caught up with another great friend who was also on the course. By the end of the session we had all created something beautiful and also felt very relaxed. Harsha is so talented and so great at explaining the creative process. Wayne and Harsha are great hosts and the venue is perfect.
  • 5/5 from Carol Grimmett, attended Jan 2025: Kantha stitching is great craft to be introduced to - so effective, so individual, so enhancing and so absorbing/ relaxing/ enjoyable. The choice of beautifully made and colourful sari bags was especially good and a great choice colourful silks to sew with. A wonderful class, thank you very much

I'm Harsha, a self-taught crafter and at India Inspired Crafts I teach a range of craft workshops from papercrafting, card making, bookbinding, art journalling, mixed media, macramé and more. Our projects are inspired by the beautiful colours, fabrics, patterns, designs, flavours and fragrances of India, giving them a twist of Indian Inspiration.
All of our workshops are taught at local venues in and around Loughborough, Leicestershire. Our craft workshops aim to encourage and improve wellbeing in our local community. A great way to switch off from every day stresses and enjoy some time to yourself, learn a new skill, and enjoy something you love.
I like to encourage sustainable crafting by reusing unwanted materials, and use eco-friendly products.
All our workshops are well paced and in a comfortable friendly environment. Perfect for every level of crafter.
All materials are included and refreshments provided at every workshop.
We are also available to run workshops at a venue of your choice or at your local craft group.
I look forward to crafting with you.
