Laser Jewellery Workshop

Laser jewellery making is so broad, so exciting and so addictive! With so many possibilities, you'll be bursting with ideas you want to try.You will spend the day designing and lasering your own pieces. We will explore a variety of materials and work in 2D and relief and even 3D too! You don't need any prior knowledge or experience as I will take you through every step. I know you will be really impressed and proud of everything you produce, and you'll be coming away with a range of pieces. The absolute joy of lasering is that you can create quality, precision work from just an idea. The laser cutter does all the hard work for you!The workshop involves learning to:

• use drawing software (CAD) to create designs
• set up and send jobs to the laser
• experiment with different materials and thicknesses that can be lasered
• post laser finishes and construction of any multi-component pieces / 3D

Just a warning... there are so many possibilities with this process you won't want to stop, it's a bit addictive!I teach these courses using a CO2 laser and Adobe Illustrator software. The skills are transferable for other lasers and software however is it worth noting that I do not use Light Burn.This workshop is a guaranteed one-to-one session so that I can tailor the workshop to your interests and needs as an individual. You can achieve so much this way.
