No, our trial workshops are beginner-friendly and designed to introduce you to the art of Ikebana. Advanced courses are available for deeper exploration.
Q: What is included in the workshop fee?
The fee covers all flowers and materials, professional instruction, and personal photographs of you with your Ikebana creations.
Q: How long does each workshop usually last?
Our Ikebana workshop lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours.
Q: Will refreshments be provided?
Yes, light festive refreshments (tea, snacks, etc.) will be offered to make your experience cosy and enjoyable.
Q: Can I take my arrangement home?
You may take home the flowers you used. Vases and tools stay with us.
Q: How does the Introductory course bundle (8-Class) work?
This bundle includes all 8 classes of the Ohara-ryu Introductory Course. You can attend sessions flexibly on any available dates, and upon completion, you will be eligible to apply for an official certificate issued by the Ohara School of Ikebana, Japan. Perfect for those who wish to build a strong foundation in Ikebana through a structured learning journey.

This trial workshop is a peaceful hands-on experience designed for beginners to explore Ikebana through floral balance, natural beauty, and inner calm. It includes the following 5 sessions, lasting about 1 hour and half.
1. Presentation and Brief
A quick introduction to Ikebana’s Introductory Course principles — balance, line, and harmony — and an overview of today’s design theme.
2. Live Demonstration
Watch a step-by-step demonstration showing key techniques and how to build a simple yet expressive arrangement.
3. Hands-on Creation
Create your own Ikebana work using seasonal flowers, with guidance available whenever you need it.
4. Feedback & Improvements
Receive gentle feedback and small adjustments to help refine your work and enhance its beauty.
5. Photo Session
Your finished arrangement — along with moments from your creative process — will be professionally photographed so you can keep a beautiful memory of your workshop experience.
