  • 5/5 from Chitra Raghunath, attended Sep 2026: I had such an amazing experience creating resin art with PourbySobia. The whole process was incredibly therapeutic and relaxing. Sobia was so patient, warm, and encouraging throughout, making the experience even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it! Regards, Chitra
  • 2/5 from Patricia Montoya, attended Sep 2026: I booked this class as a 40th birthday present for my best friend, as an activity to do together. As when you book I could only pay for the cheapest/smallest option, I messaged Sobia on the day to let them know that once we got there we may go for a bigger tray and that I would pay the difference. I was told this was not an issue... So far so good. When we arrived we found out it was just the two of us, which was great. Sobia was friendly and asked if we wanted to learn the process and spent some time showing us some of the things other have done for inspiration and told us about the different ratios that are needed of each product. However, I was quite disappointed with the experience, especially given how much I paid for it. - The venue has no sitting, so you have to do the activity standing up the whole time. - My friend had a jacket, and had to hang it on the door, there was no mention or acknowledgement from Sobia about where she would put her jacket and in the end, I ended up finding a hook and sort it it out (not a huge deal, but it feels like the first welcoming sign) - There weren't many molds of the bigger sizes, so although I was prepared to pay a lot more (£20 extra each) only my friend was able to do the bigger tray and I ended up doing the small one, which had some tears and cracks (although to be fair it doesn't seem it leaked as a result) - Sobia then said that she was going to take pictures and asked if that was ok. I told her I didn't want my picture taken as I don't like to be on social media, but she said that it was stipulated within the booking that pictures would be taken and said that she HAD to take pictures of each part of the process. I do not remember seeing at all, and I have since gone back to look at any terms and conditions and the only ones are about cancellations and rescheduling. We ended up agreeing she could take pictures without my face on them, however I felt very pushed to this compromise, and later saw her husband was recording us from outside the shop. I can't imagine any world where you have to document each process of a class by taking photographs, but even if this was the case, it should be made very clear at each stage of the booking process (as it is with the cancellation policy). I would not have booked it if I was told pictures had to be taken - When it came to actually making the trays, Sobia was very clear that the end colours or results can be different to what you start with, and that resin pretty much as a mind of its own when it comes to settling, however, it was clear that there was no enough resin to cover the whole tray, with the same amount of resin made by Sobia for the big and small tray. There was also no advice on how resin behaves, to have an idea of how to best pour each colour, so when the second colour was poured in the bigger tray, it completely absorbed the first one. We highlighted to Sobia that we thought we needed more coloured resin for the big tray, but she said that as she pours clear resin on top after we leave to help it cure, it wasn't needed... The problem with that is that you end up with patches with no colour. - Once the class finished, Sobia advised it would take about 5 days for it to cure and said she would contact me to arrange collection then. Sobia was very insistent on me leaving a review straight away. I understand how important reviews are, particularly for small businesses, but there was so much insistence I actually felt quite uncomfortable. I wanted to wait to see the end result before posting a review... And because I had been quite disappointed up to this point, I had considered not leaving one instead of leaving a negative one. - I didn't hear from Sobia apart from asking me via message to leave a review for the whole week, and in the end I texted her to ask when I could collect and was then told it was ready. I sent my partner to collect as I was not in MK that day, and when I saw the trays I was so disappointed. The smaller tray has not been left in a flat surface to dry, so it is not flat at all. And the trays had not been filled enough with resin so it is rough on the surface where the gold leaves are, and resin had been pushed to the edges, which created this rough jagged edge. All in all, I don't feel it was worth the £160 I paid for the hour experience and the trays.

  • 5/5 from Sarwat Bond, attended Feb 2026: I had a great time creating beautiful resin trays. I had bought it as a present. Teacher was helpful, friendly and made us feel comfortable. I loved the trays that were created at the end. Venue changed last minute which is fine, but we would have appreciated a heads up. This was eventually resolved. It would also be good to have some seats to sit on and ventilation for the smell of the different chemicals. Overall I enjoyed it and we would definitely do this again.
