  • 5/5 from Alison Kane, attended Jun 2026: Great teacher! Explained and demonstrated Japanese painting materials and techniques really well. Then we launched into choosing our designs and had a go. I enjoyed the friendly and encouraging atmosphere. The teacher was on hand to answer questions and help with anything needed. Materials included special Japanese water based paints, bamboo brushes, gold and black outlining inks and special rice paper boards. The painting was very engrossing and time whizzed by. A lovely opportunity to be creative and switch off for two and a half hours.
  • 5/5 from Steven Tao, attended Oct 2025: Fantastic class. We were abit nervous about this as we're new to painting and haven't done any group activity like this for a while. However the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, our teacher was so lovely and helpful, and we had plenty of time to do our own thing in our own time. Great experience and painting to take home.
