Introducing our Artisan Soap Making workshops!
In a small group of up to 6, you'll learn about essential oils and scent building. You'll be introduced to an all-vegan, sustainable, and cosmetics-tested recipe you can use and reuse at home. You'll make four bars of soap in 100ml moulds. These will be taken away to cure and label with your custom scent name or the name of the people you'll be gifting them to! Our labels are plantable seeded paper, so they'll even sow wildflowers in the spring to help support the bees!
The cold-process method is often considered the most difficult to master but yields the most benefits for the skin and remains the best option for an environmentally friendly soap bar. And fear not, our beginner-friendly recipe will make your first attempt at cold process a success!
The workshops start with a tour of our essential oils, their benefits, and the key knowledge to aromatherapy blends as well as scent building. You'll then get to blend your own scent, based on the smells you like or the aromatherapy benefits you're after.
We'll then move on to the exciting part - the soap making!
Combining our sustainable oils with our pure essential oils for scent and botanical-derived colorants, you'll make your base. You'll then learn how to combine this with lye, how to reach and identify 'trace', and when to pour your batch into your moulds.
These will cure for 24 hours before they're unmoulded and stamped, then stored for 4 weeks to cure fully. They'll then be labelled with your blend name or the name of your recipients for custom birthday and Christmas presents.
Workshops include free refreshments!
We'll provide all the ingredients, you'll also get a chance to buy hugely discounted products, and we'll gift you a code for future workshops and online purchases.
Note: Our classes are intended to prepare you for your new hobby. If you wish to start a business or pursue commercial interests, please note that our recipes are for personal use only. We do offer business courses which cover compliance, cosmetics testing, and CLPs, if you'd like to know about them, contact us.

  • 5/5 from Andrea Haskova, attended May 2025: I bought this as a birthday present for my friend and we've had such a great time, it was fun and informative. Our teacher was amazing! I would definitely recommend and we'll be going back for more classes /workshops
  • 4/5 from Andrea McKenzie, attended Jan 2025: My friend and I overall liked the workshop. The class was Chilled, Practical & Informative. Please don't take this the wrong way. At times the host was friendly & open to 1 person and abit off (abrupt/sharp) to another person. It can make some people feel uncomfortable considering it is normally a intimate group/ workshop. Thankyou Kind regards.
  • 5/5 from Noreen Sequeira, attended May 2024: The soap making class was very informative. Our teacher was very patient, and gave us lot on information regarding the problems that we might encounter and how to resolve them.
