Needle Felted Hare Workshop

In this felting class, you will learn how to create a charming large needle-felted hare sculpture, ready to adorn your shelf with its unique character. Throughout the workshop, you will discover the art of crafting a stunning sculpture using a wire armature. The morning session will focus on needle felting the body, followed by an afternoon dedicated to adding realism through the facial features and ears. Your hare will exude teddy bear-like qualities and will proudly sit on your mantelpiece or shelf, thanks to the sturdy wire in its legs.

• Get ready to unlock the secrets of needle felting with different sizes of felting needles and British wools.
• All materials required for the class are included.
• Hares may be further personalised at home with garments like sewn clothing, a knitted scarf, or a crocheted jumper.

As an experienced needle felter of over 20 years, Eve is passionate about sharing achievable techniques with beginners like you. Your hare will develop its own unique character based on the wool added to its tummy, the positioning of its ears, the expression on its face, and your personal styling choices. If you've previously crafted dolls' clothes, feel free to bring them along to style your hare character during the workshop.By the end of the class, you will not only have gained new skills in needle felting but also a delightful hare sculpture to take home, reflecting your creativity and individual touch.Good to know:The venue has parking. Upon arrival, park in the car park at the front of the shop. Unload your vehicle into your classroom. Staff will then advise you where to park your car for the day at the rear of the complex. There is disabled parking and ramps allowing access to all areas. There is a disabled toilet. Staff will help anyone in need of assistance. There is a shop on site selling an enormous range of goods relating to crafting: dressmaking, patchwork & quilting, knitting & crochet, sewing machines, and furniture.There is a coffee shop on site called O for Coffee. Attendees at our classes are visited by coffee shop staff regularly throughout the day to take any orders. Anything consumed during your day is sold at a 10% discount. As well as a large choice of hot and cold drinks, the menu comprises savoury choices including sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, and soups. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a selection of cakes and scones made in-house with gluten-free and vegan options.Cancellation Policy:

• Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund.
• Should you wish to cancel your attendance at a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date, you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee. Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.
• Should you wish to cancel your attendance at a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee.
• Refunds will be made via the original payment method or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to the value of the refund being made.
• If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is possible, then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.
• Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.
• Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on, or used for teaching purposes without the permission of the tutor.
