What you'll do
A new half-day hands-on introduction to this amazing craft. Lost wax casting has been used for thousands of years to create incredible jewellery. Using special carving wax, you will create a ring or a pendant. Your carved wax will then be sent for casting - choose from sterling silver or bronze. All charges for casting and materials will be clearly explained so you will be able to create your item and keep within your own budget at the same time.PLEASE NOTE:

- Cost is for studio time, materials, and admin.
- There is no obligation to have your item cast; you are welcome to keep your wax model (to cast at a later date perhaps).
- Casting costs will be calculated and paid for at the end of the class. I have a card machine, or I can accept cash.
- Items will be finished and made ready for you to collect, or you can provide a small, padded, stamped addressed envelope if you want it returned by post.
- Carving wax with cubic zirconia(s) - shiny little sparklers set directly into the wax to give your cast item some serious pop!
- Carving wax with raw sapphire(s) - create unique and amazing jewellery with raw sapphire(s) embedded.
