Hi, I'm Donna, the face behind Sip & String.

After years of building businesses in the beauty industry, I wanted to create something that brought people together in a different way.

Sip & String was born from my love of creativity, good conversation and making memories. It's not about being artistic or "good at crafts" – it's about switching off for a couple of hours, having a laugh, meeting new people and leaving with something you've made yourself.

I love teaching because there's nothing better than watching someone arrive saying, "I'm rubbish at this, " and leave feeling proud of what they've created. My workshops are relaxed, friendly and completely pressure-free, so whether you come with friends or on your own, you'll feel welcome.

Something people are often surprised by is that I completely changed careers to build my own businesses around my family. That journey has made me passionate about creating experiences that are fun, accessible and give people a chance to slow down in a busy world.

My aim is simple: great company, a glass in hand, beautiful beads, and an evening you'll leave smiling from.
