Hey there! It's China and Diane here: a mother-daughter duo otherwise known as Robin Rose Bakes. We started RRB in August 2021 as Lincolnshire's only 100% gluten-free and dairy-free bakery, then expanded in May 2024 to open our first coffee shop and secondhand bookshop: Robin Rose Bakes & Books.As purveyors of free-from bakes, we take quality very seriously. None of this "it's good for gluten-free" or "it's good but you can tell it's dairy-free". Our bakes are just good. Full stop. Something we're very passionate about is helping others learn how to make their own free-from food, as it's becoming more and more of a common issue. In fact, close to 60% of U.K. consumers consider a dietary requirement in their household when doing a grocery shop (Nils-Gerrit Wunsch, 2023). With China being diagnosed coeliac and Diane being dairy-intolerant, we've got a breadth of experience both personally and professionally with allergens. And although Robin Rose Bakes has been running since 2021, we have a combined 20+ years of baking and hospitality experience between us that we can't wait to share with others. So, whether you've got a dietary requirement or you find yourself completely 'normal' (what is normal anyway?!), we're here to help teach you to bake, decorate, and cook whilst considering allergens.We can't wait to meet you!
