  • 5/5 from Ellen, attended Nov 2024: This class was great value for money. The materials supplied were appropriate and generous. Having never done any crochet before, I learned some basic stitches which would allow me to have a go at making some simple items. Sophie, our teacher was enthusiastic and friendly. • 5/5 from Clare Byrne, attended Nov 2024: Sophie our teacher today was lovely. There were four of us today and they were all so helpful too. Due to being left handed I specifically chose this class but I had Sophie up the wall but she was very patient and explained everything. Well worth the full price as I had a discount code. Will tell everyone about the class. Thank you to Sophie again Clare
  • 4/5 from Pauline Hughes, attended Nov 2024: I think it would be nice to be given the crochet needle as well as the wool. The venue was fine, the length of the session was ok, but I think it would be nice o have follow up sessions

  • 5/5 from Elzabeth Reynolds, attended Sep 2024: This was a great introduction to basic crochet stitches. Sophie was very patient and encouraging, her explanation was easy to follow. There were only two of us learning today which meant Sophie had plenty of time to support us individually. We were provided with two balls of chunky wool, a crochet hook and instructions. The wool was so nice I bought 6 more balls after the workshop and I've now signed up for the online sunflower bag workshop. The only downside for me was that I booked the class last week for £22 only to find there's now 20% off all classes until October.
  • 5/5 from Stephanie Fraser, attended Aug 2024: Lovely chance for friends to get together and enjoy learning crochet. Full of laughs, our tutor Sophie was fantastic! Get kitted out with own bag of spies in hook, 2 large chunky balls of wall and instructions. Loved it!! Highly recommend for all.

  • 5/5 from Claire, attended May 2024: Sophie was friendly and really helpful. We were able to learn chain stitch, double crochet and triple crochet. The 1.5 hours flew by with Sophie helping us whilst we practiced. It was clear that she enjoyed crochet herself and she helped us be positive with our progress. I still have plenty of yarn to practice with at home and written instructions to refer back to. I found face to face learning much more productive than trying to learn from the Internet/book. I will be looking to book on another class soon to help improve my skills further.
